Case study: Do Well by Doing Good

Kundcase: Case study: Do Well by Doing Good

Client's problem: "I hate my website, it's so awful that I want to throw up when I talk about it or visit it."

Order: We need a new website where we can grow, from being a business card site to a complete e-commerce platform for services. It needs to be up and running before Nacka Business Meeting 2026, i.e., in 14 days.

Solution: We created a customized version of our DWY & DFY solutions, as the client wanted to start with a shopless Shopify, with a few products that she wanted to further develop herself before unleashing the full purchasing power of Shopify.
It was a fast and developing process, where we started by jointly creating a mood board to get an overview of the feeling and colors we wanted to achieve.

Normally, our process is longer, but this time both we and the client had time to focus completely for two weeks.

You know when it suddenly happens and everything just clicks. That's how it was with Team Mayday, who approached my website with great professionalism and inspiration. Working with both Cina and Jonas has been incredibly educational, but above all, inspiring. A creation that emerged over a very short period and through intense work. THANK YOU for YOU and for all the effort you put in.

I can highly recommend the tools; Trello & Shopify, which we worked with, but above all, Team Mayday with Cina & Jonas, who instill confidence and competence in such a process.

Together, we make it happen!

Trello - Workflow

We started by setting up a shared workspace in Trello, which was a new tool for DWBDG to work with. Everything from sketches to meeting notes to concrete finished proposals was uploaded there.

  • Doing
  • Review

Since it was a quick project and we limited ourselves to completing Step 1 within 14 days, we didn't spend much time using the Backlog, Design, and Testing lists, but rather opted for a more compact approach.

Mood board

Cina created mood boards together with the client; we reviewed inspirational websites, photos, and colors. Started over again after a weekend and continued working on the various parts. As there was no defined graphic profile before the project started, they quickly agreed on the color scheme and fonts.

Step 1 - Nacka Entrepreneur Meet-up

For Step 1, only parts of the website needed to be ready; all services to be productized will come later, so the focus was more on concealing the purchasing process rather than testing it.

Building the product series more like landing pages for each category might make it less obvious that not all products/services have been uploaded and described in the smallest detail yet.

Customer feedback

This week has been filled with many wonderful encounters and exciting events ✨💫

I feel both grateful and happy to have also managed a truly rewarding meeting with Team Mayday, where we further reviewed my website, which is currently under development. Always so professional and fun to work with. 💃🕺🎶🤩

For me, this is precisely the core of what I do.
To develop together with others.

DO WELL is all about that.
Pausing, reflecting, and strengthening your self-leadership in a daily life where the pace is often high.

And sometimes, that also means something as simple and difficult as prioritizing yourself.

This week has reminded me of how important it is. And what a difference it makes.

Learning points

  • The client taught us to use OneDrive in a way we hadn't considered ourselves, as we use SharePoint internally, and even though they are similar (both are Microsoft tools), they function differently. So, we'll take that with us into future client projects.
  • Our processes hold up even under time pressure.
  • Workshops with the client early on without showing Shopify are preferable. Sorry, Jonas, you'll have to hold back and not show the Shopify solution until it's a bit more complete.
